


I guess there were a few things that got me into dreamcast though. i'm not exactly sure when it was i bought my first dreamcast, but i've owned at least four different consoles. not to mention online right out of the box and great games for pretty much every genre. dreamcast came out and totally changed the look of video games with smooth 3D worlds and 2D games that didnt have to be butchered up or compromised just to fit on a home console (SF3!!!). psone had bad draw distances and pixelated 3D and N64 had the fog and blurry 3D. around that time, i actually had something like 4 different subscriptions to video game magazines and there certainly wasn't a lack of coverage. With a strong playerbase, Dreampipe could be an xbox live for Dreamcast.I do remember sega's whole ad campaign before and after the dc release here in the states.
